Yoga Everyday (1) - A Simple Start
Start out the new year with one simple, soulful downward dog. Nothing fancy, just the basics. Wide fingers, broad feet, long arms, strong legs, soft heart.
Long exhalations, crackling spine (no extra charge for that adjustment). Simple refinements, guided from within.
Energy releases, breath begins to flow once more. Body remembers the gift of presence, mind begins to settle. Life flows.
No extra bells and whistles, no big bangs. Just a strong foundation and a body that longs to open, to strengthen, to soften and to soar.
Savor the moment. And remember that less is often more, that sometimes sweet and simple does the trick.
Child pose for dessert.
